Job from January that was used at the International Auto Show in Detroit working for Spinifex Group.

This is built in Flash and published as an AIR application. The wheelstand contained a Mac Mini, touchscreen and a speaker. Initially it was running on bootcamp version of XP due to touchscreen driver requirement, but some unforeseen hardware issues had us going back to OSX and making it all work on the spot! Great that is was an AIR application as deploying on either operating system was no issue.

Six wheelstands were used to give visitors an interactive overview of Toyota’s Hybrid range of cars. This included text, images and video.

Features included a secret car menu and secret exit so no keyboard was needed to swap the car or restart the application – sneaky!

My role in this was AIR development. Besides the hardware issues – was a nice dev job!
